Pre-Siesta time with Warm Spaniards

warm_smileQue pasa colega? Como te va? (Wazzup, man! How’s everything doing?)

This was the conversation I heard from a group of  Spanish successful  businessmen I was having late lunch with one hot and humid Saturday in a barbecue restaurant Seaworld, Shekou, Shenzhen, China. Though these Spaniards are always traveling for business opportunities, they still remain the culture of their being a real Spanish which would mean two-hour lunches and lazy cafe afternoons. That hangover is just a part of the day which every Spanish should encounter and that siesta is as allowed for.

“Yo soy simpática”

Though I cannot speak Spanish well, I feel the warmth and the anticipationmariano that there is someone in the group who doesn’t speak Spanish. All of them speak English for me to understand the conversation. I tried to understand some Spanish words though as my native language in Philippines are almost derived from Spanish language. These really made me adore Spaniards more.

Spanish Fashion

To think, the way they wear their clothes and carry themselves shows the perception to present themselves to people the machismo and confidence of Spanish men.ST831164 Nowadays, I rarely see a man being gentle to women but when I was with these Spaniards, they showed me that there is still existing men who has the value of being gentle. This value of being gentle is actually the most important fashion I have seen that clothes them to look handsome in the eyes of women.
