Things I am grateful: Thanksgiving Day Tribute

537734943_36b8520229_oLife is a series of ups and downs.  No matter what happens always give thanks to everything. Each event in our life is connected to each other. If you fail on something, there might be a reason for such failure. Sometimes things are not meant to be and just be thankful it happened.  Since Thanksgiving is today. I thought I would share a few things I am thankful for during this year. So these are the things I wanna give thanks:

1. Second chance to be alive: I gave birth to my son Carlos in China. It was so scary for me I even thought I’m gonna die.

2. Keeping together: Naturally focusing on building and maintaining the relationships I want in my life, I have less and less time to give to the relationships which hold me down in life so they start to drift away. Thanks to my family and especially to my mother who I just got reunited with after 14years I wasn’t gone home to stay long with them. Thanks they hanged on waiting for me to come back home.

3.  I am thankful for LOVE.

Thankful for:

The love my parents give me that reminds me each day how proud I make them.

The love from my brothers that show me I will never be alone in this world.

The love my husband Daniel gives me that comes from his pure heart asking for nothing in return.

The love of friends who help me to laugh through life.

The love from my co-workers who are always there to help when I have a hard time at work.

The love I have for myself because I am creating the person I am and loving it!

The love I have for some many things in life that allow me to connect with the world.

The love from my son Carlos though he is still an infant I know he loves me.

The love I have for you just because you are reading this. I may not know you but I truly wish you the best and send love to you today.

4. I am thankful for LAUGHTER:

Thankful for:

Laughing until it hurts at funny memories that pops up into my mind.

Laughing at lunch with a good friend– Liza online over the silly things that happen in life.

Laughing at myself and the embarrassing things I have said or done.

Laughing because it is so much better than crying or getting anger.

Laughing with my family on the past fun times we have had and the new ones we are creating.

Laughing to make the fear go away.

Laughing with good intentions and never wanting to hurt others.

Laughing because my marriage makes life easier to live.

5. I am thankful for FEAR.

I am thankful for:

How fear reminds me of my boundaries and how I can push further through them.

Fear allowing me to work on past experiences I haven’t quite dealt with.

Fear making me stronger when I face them.

Fear when it goes away because it keeps me from living my life.

Fear gives me the safe to self reflect and see reality.

Fear because it reminds me that I spend too much time anticipating all the negative “what ifs” instead of the possible potential.

1 Thesalonians 5:18  ”In everything, give thanks; ; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.”
